What is your photographic style?
As you can see from my gallery, I truly have fun with each and every couple. Many photographers have a standard format of posing and style. I am the exact opposite. I believe that a wedding should be documented as it happens, not timed or staged. There will be a need for "traditional" style photographs such as family and group shots. Photojournalism is simply telling a story or capturing emotion as it happens. This is my passion. I strive to create the perfect photographic story for you and your family to cherish for many years to come.
What type of equipment do you use?
Due to the nature of my photography style, I use 35mm format. This means that my equipment is very quick and versatile to the style of photos I take. Photojournalism can be viewed many different ways. It can be categorized as unobtrusive and relaxed OR sloppy and not organized. You are the judge of what YOU like, not by definition. I love using 35mm because of its ability to be flexible and lightweight for quick focusing and movement. However, if you are searching for portraits that are larger than 16x20, this type of photographing may not be the best for you.
Do you shoot in color or black & white film?
I shoot in all color due to the versatility of the film. I have the ability to create any photograph into black & white at any time. By doing this, it gives you the opportunity to create a romantic or modern feel to any photograph you choose.
How long does it take to receive previews and completed albums?
You will receive your previews 3 - 4 weeks after your wedding with a story board for your album. Your bridal album will take 2 - 4 months to receive the final product.
Do you have an assistant and what is your dress attire?
I will use an assistant based on the size of the wedding. If your wedding consists of more than 75 people, than I will acquire an assistant. We have been working together for over 5 years on various events. I believe that every vender attending your wedding should be professionally dressed regardless of the wedding theme (i.e. barbeque, black tie, garden).
